02 July 2017 Netanyahu blocks bill to prevent division of Jerusalem Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blocked controversial legislation that would make it nearly impossible to divide Jerusalem ahead of a planned vote on Sunday. The Prime Minister’s Office said that the reason was that Netanyahu wanted the coalition to reach a consensus on what the bill would look like rather than use a version put forward by Education Minister Naftali Bennett’s Bayit Yehudi party. A recent Shorenstein Center Harvard study found that CNN and NBC had given Trump 93 percent negative coverage. The correction to four reports on Trump and Russia comes the same day The New York Times issued a similar correction to a Maggie Haberman report. Both The NYT and the AP now say the claim they’ve been floating for months is n correct.
